Renews letsencrypt ssl certificates.
A certificate is renewed only when it expires in less than 35 days; use --force to renew earlier. If one site fails, its current certificate is kept and the other sites still renew.
EasyEngine renews certificates when ee site ssl-renew --all runs. The Linux installer adds a daily root cron job for it, but only if cron is installed. Manual (phar) and Homebrew installs don’t get one. Check with crontab -l, and if the line is missing, add it:
PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin
0 0 * * * /usr/local/bin/ee site ssl-renew --all >> /opt/easyengine/logs/cron.log 2>&1
SYNOPSIS
ee site ssl-renew [<site-name>] [--force] [--all]
OPTIONS
[<site-name>]
: Name of website. If omitted, EasyEngine uses the site whose folder you’re in.
[--force]
: Force renewal.
[--all]
: Run renewal for all enabled sites that use Let’s Encrypt. Wildcard sites are skipped unless a Cloudflare API key is set (ee config set cloudflare-api-key <global-api-key>; le-mail must be the Cloudflare account email). Renew a skipped wildcard site with ee site ssl-renew example.com, add the TXT records it prints, then run ee site ssl-verify example.com.
